PORTRAIT OF A FAMILIAR EMBRACE | 2026

Part of my 2026 solo exhibition All the Lives Alive Inside Me, Portrait of a Familiar Embrace is a series of hand embroidered prints reanimating the handmade textiles of my childhood to honor these physical traces of care. Each print uses a different method – including, intaglio, relief, collagraph, silkscreen, and cyanotype – chosen for their ability to convey a beloved blanket’s unique texture and form.
